Cookie - Feb 9th, 2026

I lost my sweet sweet boy, Cookie Bear, on February 9 this year. Dr. Amanda provided such a beautiful and gentle service that day. He was only 3 and coming to this decision has been truly heartbreaking for me. He wasn't just a cat to me, he was family, my soul cat. Because of Cookie my heart opened to all cats. He was a little traveler; we got him in Germany as a stray kitten while my husband was stationed there. He wasn't just my best friend but my son's as well. They played together every day and it was a trying time teaching him about death this way. I miss this sweetie so much and wish there was more opportunities in this world so that I could have kept him forever like I planned. He's in the best place now where he can play rough and bite whoever and whatever he wants, where there's no pain or madness. I pray that when the time comes I see you again, Cookie Bear. As you're waiting for us I'll be waiting for you too.
